Partnership with Parents

Working in partnership with Parents/Carers is an important part of our aims and ethos at Puddleducks. We value and respect the unique bond which parents have with their children as their first educators and draw on the wealth of information which you have about your child to meet their individual needs in a consistent, holistic approach. These partnerships are vital to us and allow us to ensure that your child has the best possible start.

Communication lies at the heart of this relationship and our staff will ensure that they establish effective partnerships so that we can share information between home and pre-school. Please feel free to speak briefly to the Manager and/or your child’s Key Worker informally at collection and drop off times. There are also regular opportunities for more formal reporting, such as the Two Year check and Parent Evenings to discuss your child’s development in more detail. We can also provide you with information on sources of independent advice and support should you need it. 

If you have any questions or concerns or wish to offer feedback, please speak to your child’s Key Worker or to the Manager.
